Fame Sports beat Us­ma­nia in Fame foot­ball league

LA­HORE —Fame Sports FC beat Us­ma­nia FC 2-0 in the su­per round of 2nd Fame foot­ball league here on Thurs­day at Fame Sports Foot­ball Ground Model Town.

Both the team en­ter­tained a hand­ful crowd with speedy move and at­tack­ing game but poor fin­ish­ing and missed chances pre­vented any goals in first half.

Sec­ond half saw some pro­duc­tive goal scor­ing moves and Fame sports drew the first blood in the 64th minute when their Cap­tain Us­man Ghani scored off a penalty kick awarded by ref­eree Muham­mad Shams on the foul by de­fender Ab­dul Rauf of Us­ma­nia FC.

In 74th minute Us­main Ghani struck sec­ond goal through a di­rect try di­rect on the goal post. The match was of­fi­ci­ated by Com­mis­sioner Shabir Ah­mad, Ref­eree Muham­mad Shams and As­sis­tant ref­er­ees Li­aqat Ali Shah and Iqbal Ahmed. Model Town Quaid Manga FC will play Sabza­zar FC at the Fame sports ground model town on Fri­day.—APP
