Qual­ity of ed­u­ca­tion

LA­HORE— Par­lia­men­tary Sec­re­tary for Higher Ed­u­ca­tion Me­hwish Sul­tana has said that stu­dents get ad­mis­sion to uni­ver­si­ties as per rules and at­ten­tion is be­ing paid to im­prove qual­ity of ed­u­ca­tion. She said this while re­spond­ing to a sup­ple­men­tary ques­tion dur­ing a ques­tion/an­swer ses­sion at the Pun­jab Assem­bly on Fri­day. While re­spond­ing to an­other query of MPA Am­jad Ali Javed, she said if the names of those working in two dif­fer­ent uni­ver­si­ties at the same time were pro­vided, ac­tion could be taken ac­cord­ing to the rules. The par­lia­men­tary sec­re­tary, re­spond­ing to an­other sup­ple­men­tary ques­tion, posed by MPA Dr Alia Aftab, said the Pun­jab Higher Ed­u­ca­tion Com­mis­sion had de­cided to pro­vide funds to the uni­ver­si­ties for set­ting up ca­reer coun­selling of­fices there.
