PM again raps PTI ....

Nawaz said some peo­ple wanted to come on roads over ev­ery is­sue adding he was con­struct­ing the roads for them so that they may keep demon­strat­ing if they feel happy over that.

“They have not taken any solid steps for the de­vel­op­ment of Khy­ber Pukhtunkhwa prov­ince and only re­sort­ing to protests and Dh­er­nas but we be­lieve in serv­ing the peo­ple and Nawaz Sharif Kid­ney Hos­pi­tal in Min­gora is a gift to the peo­ple of Khy­ber Pukhtunkhwa (KP) from the peo­ple of Pun­jab”. The Prime Min­is­ter said adding PTI had claimed to build a new Pak­istan, but it has failed in it. He how­ever, rep­ri­manded the peo­ple of Swat for what he said vot­ing for the peo­ple other the PML in the 2013 gen­eral elec­tions. “The peo­ple of Swat made a mis­take in 2013 elec­tions by vot­ing for oth­ers”. Nawaz said while re­fer­ring to Pak­istan Tehreek-e-In­saaf that is rul­ing the KP prov­ince.

Nawaz said the coun­try has been put on the path of rapid de­vel­op­ment and econ­omy has been strength­ened and the for­eign ex­change re­serves have reached the ever high level. He claimed the load-shed­ding will be over­come by the year 2018. He said that the change in­tro­duced un­der his lead­er­ship can be wit­nessed in Pun­jab and Balochis­tan and sim­i­lar change will be in­tro­duced in KP.

Prime Min­is­ter main­tained that the China-Pak­istan Eco­nomic Cor­ri­dor (CPEC) shall be con­nected with rest of the re­gion through Basham, adding that this will play an im­por­tant role in up­lift­ing the en­tire re­gion.

Ear­lier, Prime Min­is­ter Sharif in­au­gu­rated the newly con­structed Nawaz Sharif Kid­ney Hos­pi­tal in Swat on Fri­day af­ter­noon. The 110 beds hos­pi­tal has been com­pleted at a cost of eight hun­dred mil­lion ru­pees. The hos­pi­tal has an OPD, two op­er­a­tion the­atres, male and fe­male wards, four­teen dial­y­sis units, CT scan and other nec­es­sary fa­cil­i­ties.

The Hos­pi­tal is the first of its kind in Khy­ber Pukhtunkhwa. The Prime Min­is­ter in­spected var­i­ous sec­tions of the hos­pi­tal and talked to pa­tients. He di­rected for lay­ing a sep­a­rate trans­mis­sion line to en­sure smooth power sup­ply to the hos­pi­tal.

Prime Min­is­ter an­nounced sev­eral de­vel­op­ment projects for Malakand di­vi­sion in­clud­ing Chak­dara-Kalam high­way, Kh­waza­khela-Bisham road and con­nect­ing the Malakand di­vi­sion with the CPEC.

He also an­nounced var­i­ous projects for the re­gion, in­clud­ing a tech­ni­cal in­sti­tute for the youth, a univer­sity sub­cam­pus for women in Min­gora and a univer­sity cam­pus in Shangla. Nawaz an­nounced Rs200 mil­lion for each dis­trict coun­cil Shangla and dis­trict coun­cil Swat. He said Saidu Sharif Air­port will be re­ac­ti­vated and both do­mes­tic and in­ter­na­tional flights will be op­er­ated from it.

The Prime Min­is­ter dur­ing his day long trip to Swat was ac­com­pa­nied by Ad­vi­sor to the Prime Min­is­ter Engr Amir Muqam, for­mer Gov­er­nor Khy­ber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK) Sar­dar Me­htab Ahmed Khan, KPK PML-N Pres­i­dent Pir Sabir Shah, se­nior PML-N leader Si­ran­jum Khan and se­nior gov­ern­ment of­fi­cials of Pun­jab and KP.
