Fire­crack­ers busi­ness go­ing un­no­ticed

RAWALPINDI—The fire­crack­ers busi­ness is go­ing un­no­ticed on Shab-e-barat in the city which speaks neg­li­gence of police. Peo­ple be­long­ing to var­i­ous walks of life have ex­pressed their con­cern that fire­crack­ers busi­ness is in full swing, and no proper ac­tion had been taken on ground to check the pro­hib­ited sale of fire­crack­ers.

The fire­crack­ers busi­ness is flour­ish­ing in­clud­ing So­tar Gali, City Naz Cin­ema, Ko­hati Baz­zar, Com­mit­tee Chowk and the other lo­cal­i­ties of the city. In the past, many gloomy in­ci­dents were re­ported that caused fi­nan­cial as well as hu­man loss in th­ese ar­eas. As­lam Chaudhry, a teacher said many peo­ple are in­volved in the busi­ness sell­ing fire­crack­ers se­cretly. He de­manded the con­cerned author­i­ties to take prompt ac­tion against the those sell­ing fire­crack­ers.

Par­tic­u­larly, fire­crack­ers are be­ing used fre­quently at night which cre­ates rest­less­ness among the peo­ple who are busy in wor­ship, he added.
