NUST school to hold 3-day Bei­jing Fo­rum

IS­LAM­ABAD—NUST School of So­cial Sciences and Hu­man­i­ties (S3H) will hold a three-day Bei­jing Fo­rum from May 24 to 26, Dean S3H Dr Ash­faque Hasan Khan said.

“This Bei­jing Fo­rum is an event sim­i­lar to the World Eco­nomic Fo­rum and is to be held in NUST from May 24th to 26th,” he said in his open­ing re­marks at the school’s 2nd an­nual job fair held here re­cently.

He high­lighted im­por­tance of the job fair and ap­prised the par­tic­i­pants about up­com­ing in­ter­na­tional events, which would be held in the S3H in­clud­ing the Bei­jing Fo­rum.

He said a book writ­ten by former en­voy Ah­san Javeed on “China De­vel­op­ment Ex­pe­ri­ence” would also be launched in the event. It will be the NUST con­tri­bu­tion to the 65th an­niver­sary of diplo­matic re­la­tions be­tween Pak­istan and China. —APP
