De­tainee Yas­min shifted to Srinagar jail

SRINAGAR—In oc­cu­pied Kash­mir, the All Par­ties Hur­riyet Con­fer­ence (APHC) leader and the Chair­per­son of Mus­lim Khawa­teen Markaz Jammu and Kash­mir, Yas­meen Raja has been shifted from Srinagar police sta­tion to cen­tral jail, Srinagar,. She was ar­rest three days ago from a court dur­ing hear­ing of a fake case.The Mus­lim Khawa­teen Markaz spokesper­son in a state­ment is­sued in Srinagar said that the case against Yas­meen Raja was regis­tered for wav­ing Pak­istani flags in Srinagar and hold­ing peace­ful protest demon­stra­tions against the In­dian state ter­ror­ism.

The spokesper­son said that In­dia could not with­draw Yas­meen Raja and other Hur­riyet lead­ers from their strug­gle for se­cur­ing right to self-de­ter­mi­na­tion through such cheap means. She said that strug­gle for Kash­miris’ birthright to con­tinue till tak­ing it to its log­i­cal con­clu­sion.—KMS
