Hot, dry weather with rain at scatted places
ISLAMABAD—Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country however, rain-thunderstorm is likely at few places in Kashmir and its adjoining areas during next 24 hours. Low pressure area lies over North Balochistan and its adjoining areas with its trough extending northeastwards.
A westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country during next 24 hours, an official of Met office told APP. In last hours rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in upper Punjab, Islamabad, Khaber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, GilgitBaltistan and Kashmir.
Weather remained hot and dry elsewhere in the country during this duration. Rainfall recorded during this time span remained Garhi Dupatta 53mm, Rawalakot 17mm, Muzaffarabad 6mm, Kotli 5mm, Lahore PBO 25mm, Faisalabad 21mm, Gujranwala 20mm, Sargodha 16mm, Lahore A/P 12mm, Jhang 11mm, Murree 5mm, Sialkot Cantt 4mm, Islamabad Z.P 3mm, Mangla 3mm, Sialkot A/P 1mm, Kamra 1mm, Rawalpindi 1mm, Mandibahauddin 1mm, Saidu Sharif 20mm, Pattan 16mm, Cherat 13mm, D.I.Khan 13mm, Drosh 13mm, Kakul 12mm, Parachinar 12mm, Kalam 11mm, Balakot 7mm and Gilgit 2mm.
