Rescue 1122 celebrates 12th year of life-saving services
RAWALPINDI—The Director General Punjab Emergency Service Brig.(R) Dr Arshad Zia highly acknowledged the services of pioneer badge of Rescue 1122, on completion of 12 years of Service and appreciated the professional commitment, performance and enthusiasm of all pioneers.
Addressing the pioneers, he said that the senior management is focusing towards capacity building and welfare of rescuers of Punjab Emergency Service in all aspects, says a press release issued here on Tuesday.
During his address, The DG advised all the rescuers to continue performing duties with same zeal and zest in order to ensure optimum provision of Emergency Services to the citizens of Punjab without any discrimination.
The DG graced the occasion along with Regional Emergency Officer Dr. Zafar Shah, Deputy Director (HR&A) Dr. Fooad Shahzad Mirza, Deputy Director (P&D) Faheem Ahmad Qureshi, Deputy Director, Finance, Naeem Mukhtar, Deputy Director, Operations, Ayaz Aslam, Deputy Director (R&M) Irfan Naseer, Pioneer Rescuers and senior officers of Rescue 1122.
On the occasion, Pioneers shared their experiences and achievements of their practical life saving career.
The Deputy Director (HR&A) Dr Fooad Shahzad Mirza said it was a historical moment when Rescue 1122 dealt first emergency in Rescue 1122 ambulance.
He shared with rescuers that the pioneers burnt midnight oil to establish current infrastructure and build a good repute of Punjab Emergency Service.
He also praised the commitment, dedication, hard work, professionalism of pioneer badge.
Other rescuers expressed that they always feel proud to be a part of this life saving emergency service and own it from core of their heart.
It is noteworthy that Punjab Emergency Service responded to more than 3.4 million emergencies and saved over four million victims while maintaining average response time of less than seven minutes.—APP
