Dry weather with rain at scat­tered places

IS­LAM­ABAD—Mainly, very hot and dry weather is ex­pected in most parts of the coun­try how­ever, rain-thun­der­storm is likely at one or two places in Kash­mir and its ad­join­ing hilly ar­eas dur­ing next 24 hours.

Sea­sonal low pres­sure area lies over north Balochis­tan and its ad­join­ing ar­eas. A west­erly wave is still af­fect­ing Kash­mir and its ad­join­ing ar­eas and likely to af­fect dur­ing next 24 to 48 hours, an of­fi­cial of Met Of­fice told APP.

In last 24 hours rain-thun­der­storm oc­curred at scat­tered places in Rawalpindi, Malakand, Hazara Di­vi­sions, Is­lam­abad, Gil­git-Baltistan and Kash­mir. Weather re­mained hot and dry else­where in the coun­try dur­ing this times­pan.

Rain­fall recorded dur­ing this time pe­riod re­mained Mur­ree 81mm, Mangla 09mm, Sialkot Cantt 03mm Rawalakot 28mm, Garhi Du­patta 13mm, Muzaf­farabad 09mm, Kotli 05mm Kakul 23mm, Malam­jaba 20mm, Balakot 10mm, Dir 02mm, Kalam 01mm, Gupis 12mm, Gil­git 09mm, As­tore 08mm, Bunji 03mm, and Skardu 02mm.
