Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - FIDA ZAMAN

Once again death toll in Thar has reached at a risky level. Earlier, in drought hit Thar many children went to the valley of death. Due to the irreponsibility of the government, deaths created a record in the history of Sindh.

Over last few months, approximately, the deaths of 1308 children were reported due to malnutrition. But now because of the unavailability of water, 27 children lost their precious lives in the desert areas of Thar. The concerned authorities have failed to address this situation. The Sindh Government especially PPP leaders are urgently requested to take action to make sure water supply in Thar.
