Court grants remand
QUETTA—The Accountability Court has granted 14 days remand of ex-finance advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Khalid Khan Langove in mega corruption case. He will remain in the custody of the anti-corruption institution till June 07. A team of the NAB Balochistan brought Mir Langove to court amid tight security and requested for granting remand for 14 days. The court accepted the application of the NAB and remanded Mir Langove to the NAB in a mega corruption case lodged against suspended finance secretary Balochistan, Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani. The NAB Balochistan issued three summons to Mir Langove to appear before it for questioning in Raisani graft case, but he failed to appear in this regard. Earlier, He had got prearrest protective bail from the Islamabad High Court for 12 days and later, he filed application with the Balochistan High Court to grant him protective bail which rejected his request in this connection.
