Court grants re­mand

QUETTA—The Ac­count­abil­ity Court has granted 14 days re­mand of ex-fi­nance ad­vi­sor to Chief Min­is­ter Balochis­tan, Mir Khalid Khan Lan­gove in mega cor­rup­tion case. He will re­main in the cus­tody of the anti-cor­rup­tion in­sti­tu­tion till June 07. A team of the NAB Balochis­tan brought Mir Lan­gove to court amid tight se­cu­rity and re­quested for grant­ing re­mand for 14 days. The court ac­cepted the ap­pli­ca­tion of the NAB and re­manded Mir Lan­gove to the NAB in a mega cor­rup­tion case lodged against sus­pended fi­nance sec­re­tary Balochis­tan, Mush­taq Ahmed Raisani. The NAB Balochis­tan is­sued three sum­mons to Mir Lan­gove to ap­pear be­fore it for ques­tion­ing in Raisani graft case, but he failed to ap­pear in this re­gard. Ear­lier, He had got pre­ar­rest pro­tec­tive bail from the Islamabad High Court for 12 days and later, he filed ap­pli­ca­tion with the Balochis­tan High Court to grant him pro­tec­tive bail which re­jected his re­quest in this con­nec­tion.
