UBL to in­stall ATMs at Shell fuel sta­tions

KARACHI—United Bank Lim­ited (UBL) and Shell re­cently signed an MoU for in­stal­la­tion of UBL ATMs at Shell re­tail fuel sta­tions across Pak­istan. The state-of-the-art bio­met­ric en­abled ATMs will pro­vide cus­tomers a con­ve­nient lo­ca­tion to with­draw cash. The pur­pose of the al­liance is to ex­tend cus­tomer con­ve­nience be­yond tra­di­tional branches and pro­vide them with a one-stop so­lu­tion for re-fu­el­ing, with­draw­ing cash and mak­ing small time pur­chases.

Present at the sign­ing cer­e­mony, Mazhar-udDeen, GM Re­tail, Shell Pak­istan, com­mented that cus­tomer con­ve­nience is at the heart of Shell’s phi­los­o­phy and part­ner­ing with UBL to de­ploy ATMs at Shell fuel sta­tions is a step fur­ther to en­sure just that. Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion, Arif Sirhindi, GE Pay­ment Ser­vices Group, UBL, said that UBL wants to tran­scend the bound­aries of pro­vid­ing tra­di­tional cus­tomer ser­vices to its con­sumers and the gen­eral pub­lic at large.
