FC martyrs services eulogised for Balochistan peace
QUETTA—Commander Southern Command, Lt General Aamir Riaz has said that credit went to the Frontier Corps for peace in Balochistan whose personnel were martyred in the line of duty while fighting antipeace elements.
He was addressing a ceremony held to distribute keys of newly constructed homes for the families of FC martyrs, here on Friday. Inspector General, Frontier Corps Balochistan, Maj General Sher Afgun and senior officials were also present.
He said: “No doubt, FC played remarkable and important role in restoration of peace even it lost a number of its officials and personnel while they were fighting terrorism in Balochistan.” He said that FC had also taken stringent measures for continuation of development process and advancement of education in the province.
He said that some foreign elements were involved in hatching conspiracies to create chaos, unrest and lawlessness in Balochistan, adding that security forces including the Pak Army, FC and others in collaboration with Baloch and Pashtoon people had jointly been foiling nefarious designs of enemies of Pakistan.
He said that he paid rich tributes to the martyrs of FC and added that their families would not be left alone. The families of FC martyrs will be provided with all available help and collaboration, he said. He appreciated the FC for constructing new homes for the families of martyrs. Later, he distributed keys of newly constructed homes among the heirs of the martyrs.—APP
