Hot, dry weather con­tinue to per­sists

IS­LAM­ABAD—Di­rec­tor Gen­eral MET of­fice Ghu­lam Ra­sool Friday pre­dicted very hot and dry weather which would per­sist in most parts of the coun­try dur­ing next 2 to 3 days .

Talk­ing to me­dia he said but af­ter two to three days rain or thun­der­storm would turn the weather pleas­ant in dif­fer­ent parts of the coun­try added that there was no chance of rain in Karachi in the com­ing days but the coastal winds would con­tinue blow­ing and the tem­per­a­ture would con­tinue re­main be­tween 34 C to 36 C.

He said weather in Multan had turned pleas­ant due to rain last night but dusty winds would con­tinue blow­ing in the com­ing days added that th­ese winds would con­tinue blow­ing next two days as they have taken the sun un­der their shade and the tem­per­a­ture would be de­creased ac­cord­ingly .

He said the peo­ple there were fac­ing prob­lems com­ing out of houses due to breath­ing prob­lems and have cov­ered their faces with masks so that they could be saved from the dusty winds added that de­spite that they were en­joy­ing their work­ing days pleas­antly .Mean­while, Pak­istan Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Depart­ment (PMD) on Friday pre­dicted a shower as­so­ci­ated with gusty winds in parts of the prov­ince dur­ing next 48 hours.
