Govt to re­dress pub­lic com­plaints at doorsteps

govt is com­mit­ted to re­dress the griev­ances of the peo­ple against dif­fer­ent de­part­ments at their doorsteps and its am­ple proof is es­tab­lish­ment of Fed­eral Om­buds­man Camp Of­fice at dis­trict level.

As­so­ciate Ad­vi­sor to Fed­eral Om­buds­man Ma­lik Amanat Ra­sool said this while talk­ing to jour­nal­ists here at his of­fice in Attock. On the oc­ca­sion Ad­vi­sor Pro­vin­cial Om­buds­man Khalid Hus­sain Baloch was also present.

Ma­lik Amanat Ra­sool said that com­plaints against Nadra, SNGPL, Wapda, Pak­istan Bait-ul-Maal and other de­part­ments work­ing un­der fed­eral govt are en­ter­tained here and their so­lu­tion is sorted out at the ear­li­est and short­est pos­si­ble time. He said, res­i­dents of Attock to avail this op­por­tu­nity, which has been made avail­able to them at their doorstep.

He said, the con­cerned de­part­ments are or­dered to set­tle the is­sues and com­pli­ance is con­firmed .He said, de­part­ments fail­ing to re­dress the griev­ances are is­sued show cause no­tices and charge sheets also.

He said, Fed­eral Om­buds­man Camp of­fice has been es­tab­lished at dis­trict level as a pi­lot project and if re­ceived bet­ter re­sponse then such camp of­fices will be es­tab­lished at tehsil level also. He said so for seven com­plaints have been re­ceived and are be­ing re­dressed.
