Govt to redress public complaints at doorsteps
govt is committed to redress the grievances of the people against different departments at their doorsteps and its ample proof is establishment of Federal Ombudsman Camp Office at district level.
Associate Advisor to Federal Ombudsman Malik Amanat Rasool said this while talking to journalists here at his office in Attock. On the occasion Advisor Provincial Ombudsman Khalid Hussain Baloch was also present.
Malik Amanat Rasool said that complaints against Nadra, SNGPL, Wapda, Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal and other departments working under federal govt are entertained here and their solution is sorted out at the earliest and shortest possible time. He said, residents of Attock to avail this opportunity, which has been made available to them at their doorstep.
He said, the concerned departments are ordered to settle the issues and compliance is confirmed .He said, departments failing to redress the grievances are issued show cause notices and charge sheets also.
He said, Federal Ombudsman Camp office has been established at district level as a pilot project and if received better response then such camp offices will be established at tehsil level also. He said so for seven complaints have been received and are being redressed.
