His re­marks came dur­ing a visit to the Naval War Col­lege in La­hore, where he ad­dressed the course par­tic­i­pants. Gen­eral Ra­heel fo­cused on the pre­vail­ing geo-strate­gic en­vi­ron­ment, se­cu­rity chal­lenges and op­por­tu­ni­ties for Pak­istan.

“Navy has a proud his­tory of val­our and sac­ri­fices,” he said. “As a fully vi­brant and for­mi­da­ble force, Pak­istan Nay has al­ways lived up to the ex­pec­ta­tions of the na­tion in de­fend­ing the mar­itime fron­tiers of Pak­istan.”

The army chief par­tic­u­larly ap­pre­ci­ated the close co­or­di­na­tion be­tween the three ser­vices. “To­gether, we will up­root this men­ace and over­come all chal­lenges fac­ing Pak­istan,” he said.
