ANF ar­rests four, seizes huge quan­tity of drugs

KARACHI—The Anti Nar­cotics Force (ANF), Sindh, seized huge quan­tity of drugs in dif­fer­ent raids and ap­pre­hended four ac­cused, here on Friday.

Ac­cord­ing to a state­ment, ANF on a tip off, con­ducted two raids in Lyari area.

Dur­ing a raid at Al Hafeez Build­ing near Masjid Hafzaan, re­cov­ered 41 kgs of Heroin and ar­rested an ac­cused.

In another ac­tion, ANF con­ducted a raid on a house near Baloch School, Lyari and re­cov­ered 7.800 kgs Opium, 2.500 kgs Heroin and 200 kgs of high qual­ity Hashish. Owner of the said house, Li­aquat Baloch has been ar­rested.

The ANF of­fi­cials at Jin­nah In­ter­na­tional Air­port ar­rested 2 pas­sen­gers, af­ter recovery of 2.150 kg Heroin from their pos­ses­sion. The ac­cused were trav­el­ling to Jeddah. Cases have been reg­is­tered and fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tions are un­der­way.—APP
