Yaum-e-Tak­beer cel­e­brated in Mul­tan

MUL­TAN—Like other parts of the coun­try Yaum- eTak­beer was ob­served on Satur­day in Mul­tan with a pledge to de­fend the coun­try against any ag­gres­sion. Pak­istan Mus­lim League Nawaz and oth­ers or­ga­nized sem­i­nars, rallies and cake cut­ting cer­e­monies in the city to high­light the im­por­tance of the Yaum-eTak­beer. The na­tion pledged to­day that all-out ef­forts would be made for up­hold­ing na­tional sovereignty and sol­i­dar­ity of Pak­istan.

The main cer­e­mony was or­ga­nized by PML-N at Raza Hall in which City Gen­eral Sec­re­tary PML-N Shiekh Tariq Rasheed, MPA Haji Eh­san Ud­din Qureshi, for­mer pro­vin­cial min­is­ter Ab­dul Waheed Ar­rain and other party work­ers were par­tic­i­pated.

Ad­dress­ing the cer­e­mony, Sheikh Tariq Rasheed said that he felt proud to be work­ers of PML-N leader Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif who had made this coun­try pow­er­ful.

MPA Haji Eh­san Ud­din Qureshi said that Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif was the only leader who made this coun­try un­de­feat­able and only he had abil­ity to bring this coun­try out of crises.

For­mer pro­vin­cial min­is­ter Ab­dul Waheed Ar­rain said that PML-N had car­ried out nu­clear tests on May 28, 1998 and the party lead­er­ship was only hope for the coun­try. Later, PML-N work­ers took out “Nawaz Sharif Zind­abad” rally which started from Raza Hall and cul­mi­nated at Katchehri chowk.—APP
