Influx of money in politics proved ruinous for common man: Sikandar
CORRESPONDENCE FATEHPU/THAKYALA, IHK—Former president/ prime minister of AJK and senior leader of PML-N has observed that the inundation of money into politics has ruined the condition of general workers and commonman. He made this observation while talking to a visiting team of Fauji Foundation inspectors here Saturday.
Fauji Foundation school’s building has been completed. Construction funds were provided by the Kashmir Council.
Recalling the achievements of his governments from 1970 to 2006, he said that he initiated big public utility projects starting from the electrification of entire Nikyal area and establishment of Kashmir Liberation

Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan charged that Kashmir Council seats were openly auctioned.Price of per seat was Rs. 280 million. No honor or prestige are let in politics now. Highly respected politicians like Sardar Ibrahim Khan, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan, KH Khursheed, Ghazi Elahi Bux and Ch Noor Hussain have left this world.
Referring to the liberation of Kashmir struggle, Sardar Sikander paid rich tribute to Pathans of Kyber Pukhtoonkhwa for their brave role saying that among four Hilal-e-Kashmir/equal to Nishan-e-Haider three are Pathans and one is Kashmiri Naik Saif Ali Malik.
