IHK JI calls for re­vival of so­cial moral val­ues

RAJOURI (IHK)—A two-day long an­nual con­fer­ence of the Ja­mat-e-Is­lami (JI) Alami Con­fer­ence cul­mi­nated with the hold­ing of a blood-do­na­tion camp at Sports Sta­dium Rajouri Mon­day. As per de­tails, thou­sands of ac­tivists of Ja­maat took part in the con­fer­ence that had started on Satur­day.

A num­ber of noted re­li­gious schol­ars and Ja­mat ac­tivists in­clud­ing Ameer Ja­mat Ghu­lam Mo­ham­mad Bhat, Ghu­lam Qadir Lone, Dr. Abdul Hamid Fayaz, Gazi Mo­hin Is­lam Nadvi, Mo­ham­mad Ramzan, Adv Zahid Ali, Ameer Mo­ham­mad Shamsi and Nazir Ahmed Raina ad­dressed the con­fer­ence.

The schol­ars termed the loss of moral val­ues among hu­man be­ings as a grave threat for hu­man­ity and made the peo­ple aware about var­i­ous so­cial crimes in­clud­ing drugs men­ace.

“Ev­ery hu­man should fol­low the teach­ings of re­li­gion as re­li­gion teaches us the right val­ues”, said one of the speak­ers. The schol­ars urged peo­ple to in­cul­cate re­li­gious and moral val­ues among their chil­dren “which is must for so­ci­ety and hu­man­ity”.

Mean­while, a blood do­na­tion camp was also or­gan­ised as part of the con­fer­ence in which at least forty units of blood were do­nated to the health de­part­ment for use in fu­ture.—GK
