DC warns school ad­mins charg­ing dou­ble fee dur­ing sum­mer va­ca­tions

PESHAWAR—The Dis­trict Ad­min­is­tra­tion of Peshawar has warned of le­gal ac­tion against those schools which are not com­ply­ing with the or­der is­sued by Deputy Com­mis­sioner, Riaz Khan Mehsud di­rect­ing pri­vate school au­thor­i­ties not to charge dou­ble fees dur­ing sum­mer hol­i­days.

Those schools which are not com­ply­ing with the or­der would face le­gal cases in Con­sumer Court Peshawar,” said an of­fi­cial of DC Of­fice. The Deputy Com­mis­sioner Peshawar, Riaz Khan Mehsud had is­sued the or­ders on May 27, 2016. The Deputy Com­mis­sioner also di­rected school ad­min­is­tra­tions from mak­ing any an­nual in­crease in fees with­out per­mis­sion from the Con­sumer Court.
