Saudi Ara­bia, Qatar, Azer­bai­jan, the state­ment added. Pres­i­dent Er­do­gan praised Pak­istan Army’s ac­com­plish­ments in Op­er­a­tion Zarb-e-Azb and its con­tri­bu­tions to re­gional peace and sta­bil­ity.

The pres­i­dent thanked army chief for Pak­istan’s par­tic­i­pa­tion and his per­sonal pres­ence to wit­ness the ex­er­cise, say­ing it will en­hance the ex­ist­ing close, friendly ties.

Re­cip­ro­cat­ing, Gen­eral Ra­heel ap­pre­ci­ated Turk­ish forces for an out­stand­ing con­duct of the ex­er­cise of such mag­ni­tude and scope.

Ex­er­cise EFES was aimed at shar­ing mil­i­tary ex­pe­ri­ence and en­hanc­ing train­ing ex­changes of Pak­istan Army in the last three years, with the forces con­duct­ing 52 ex­er­cises in­land and abroad.
