4 sasta bazars, 40 fair price shops to be set up in Ra­mazan

ISLAMABAD— Islamabad Cap­i­tal Ter­ri­tory (ICT) Ad­min­is­tra­tion would set up four ‘sasta bazars’ and 40 ‘fair price shops’ in ru­ral and ur­ban ar­eas dur­ing the holy month of Ramzan.

Talk­ing to APP, Deputy Com­mis­sioner ICT, Cap­tain (R) Mush­taq Ahmed said, the weekly bazars would also be shifted in Sasta Bazars.

He said Sasta Bazars would be set up in dif­fer­ent ar­eas in­clud­ing Bharakau, Pak­istan Town, Tar­lai and So­han.

DC said, a meet­ing of ICT ad­min­is­tra­tion would be held on Wed­nes­day to fi­nal­ize the lo­ca­tions for fair price shops in the city.

All stake­hold­ers in­clud­ing CDA would be taken on board re­gard­ing de­ci­sion about sasta bazars and fair price shops, he added.—APP
