Nestlé launches em­ployee re­la­tions’ body

SALIM AHMED LAHORE—Nestlé Pak­istan has launched Em­ployee Re­la­tions Lahore Chap­ter. There are such fo­rums al­ready work­ing in Karachi but such an in­ter­ac­tive fo­rum did not ex­ist in Lahore. Nestlé Pak­istan de­cided to take ad­van­tage of the op­por­tu­nity and pro­vide a plat­form that would serve as a source of learn­ing and col­lab­o­ra­tion and de­velop mar­ket syn­er­gies.

Par­tic­i­pat­ing or­gan­i­sa­tions in­cluded Coca Cola, Unilever, Fa­tima Group, ICI, Fauji Fresh & Freeze, Mitchells, Sufi Group, Descon, Na­tional Foods and Pack­ages Ltd. Ak­mal Saeed, Head of HR, Nestlé; Ha­roon Wa­heed, Head of HR Fa­tima Group; Ms. Na­jam Ul Sa­her, Nestlé Cor­po­rate Em­ployee Re­la­tions Man­ager; Ad­nan Kherati, HR Man­ager, ICI; and Shama Jabir, HR Busi­ness Part­ner Em­ployee Re­la­tions, Co­caCola spoke on the oc­ca­sion.

Ak­mal Saeed said, “ER forms the back­bone of ev­ery or­gan­i­sa­tion and if man­aged with trans­parency, hon­esty and keen in­ter­est, it leads to the suc­cess of the or­gan­i­sa­tion.
