Mar­galla Ex­press to ply on daily ba­sis from June 5

ISLAMABAD— Pak­istan Railways ( PR) has de­cided to op­er­ate Mar­galla Ex­press train from Rawalpindi to La­hore on daily ba­sis from June 5.

“Be­fore that de­ci­sion of the Pak­istan Railways the Mar­galla Ex­press was ply­ing for three days a week,” an of­fi­cial in the Min­istry of Railways told APP on Wed­nes­day.

He said that PR has changed the tim­ings of Mar­galla Ex­press which will now si­mul­ta­ne­ously depart and ar­rive from La­hore- Rawalpindi at 5: 30 am and 10: 10 am re­spec­tively. PR has also changed the tim­ings of Rawal Ex­press which will now si­mul­ta­ne­ously depart and ar­rive from La­hore- Rawalpindi at 12: 30 pm and 4: 30 am re­spec­tively, he added.

The of­fi­cial said that PR has al­lowed two min­utes stop­page to Mil­lat Ex­press which run from Faisalabad- Karachi and Iqbal Ex­press from Sialkot- Karachi at Pid Ed­dan Railway Sta­tion. He said the stop­page will be temporary to fa­cil­i­tate the pas­sen­gers till June 26.— APP
