BankIs­lami signs strate­gic al­liance with Akhuwat

KARACHI— BankIs­lami Pak­istan has signed an agree­ment with Akhuwat Foun­da­tion, an In­ter­est free Mi­cro- fi­nance NGO. Un­der the agree­ment, BankIs­lami will pro­vide Cash Man­age­ment so­lu­tions to Akhuwat for the dis­tri­bu­tion of Qarz- e- Hasna Scheme ( In­ter­est Free Loans). Loan dis­burse­ment will take place through BankIs­lami’s na­tion­wide net­work of 317 branches.

Akhuwat is known to run­ning World’s largest in­ter­est free mi­cro fi­nance NGO net­work with over 500 camp of­fices na­tion- wide MoU was signed by Hasan A. Bil­grami, Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cerBankIs­lami Pak­istan and Dr. Muham­mad Am­jad Saqib, Ex­ec­u­tive Direc­torAkhuwat. Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion, Hasan A. Bil­grami said: “Al­liance with Akhuwat will go a long way in pro­vid­ing fa­cil­ity to the bor­row­ers of Qarz e Hasna Scheme. BankIs­lami will also con­trib­ute its share in this noble cause of serv­ing the un­der priv­i­leged seg­ments of the so­ci­ety”. Dr. M. Am­jad Saqib also added that “We are proud to part­ner with BankIs­lami and we ap­pre­ci­ate their sup­port for Akhuwat”

ISLAMABAD: Chair­man PTA Dr. Syed Is­mail Shah dur­ing bid sub­mis­sion from M/ s Te­lenor for Spec­trum Auction Next Gen­er­a­tion Mo­bile Ser­vices in Pak­istan along with se­nior of­fi­cers of PTA and Te­lenor.
