TCS to de­liver MRP in 39 dis­tricts

KARACHI— As part of its on­go­ing ef­forts to pro­vide value added ser­vices and turnkey so­lu­tions to con­sumers and clients; TCS has ex­panded the reach of its Ma­chine Read­able Pass­port ( MRP) Home Delivery Ser­vice from the ini­tial 14 dis­tricts and added an­other 39 dis­tricts to its MRP delivery net­work across the coun­try. The launch cer­e­mony for this ex­pan­sion project was held on June 1, 2016 at the Pass­port & Im­mi­gra­tion Direc­torate, Islamabad. Us­man Akhtar Ba­jwa, Direc­tor Gen­eral, Pass­port and Im­mi­gra­tion, was the Chief Guest on the oc­ca­sion. Among those who at­tended the cer­e­mony were Muham­mad Ma­sood, RDS North, Ab­dul Rehman, RMO North, Wa­jid Shah CSH, Islamabad and Qa­mar Ab­bas, Man­ager, MRP Project, TCS. This project has been jointly un­der­taken by the Direc­torate of Pass­port & Im­mi­gra­tion and TCS, Pak­istan.

Un­der this project, the cit­i­zens of Pak­istan will have the con­ve­nient and cost- ef­fec­tive op­tion of hav­ing their Ma­chine Read­able Pass­ports de­liv­ered to them right at their doorsteps through TCS Pass­port Ex­press. The 39 dis­tricts be­ing added to the MRP Home Delivery net­work are: Ab­bot­tabad, At­tock, Ba­hawal­na­gar, Ba­hawalpur, Bannu, Chak­wal, D. I. Khan, Gu­j­jar Khan, Jaran­wala, Jehlum, Jhang, Kasur, Ko­hat, Larkana, Mandi Bahauddin, Mir­pur, Azad Kash­mir.
