She also distributed gifts among orphans.—PO photo KARACHI—The 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) would be held here in November this year. According to a statement, this was informed at the second steering committee meeting held on Thursday.
It was informed that preparations for the IDEAS, to be held from November 22 to 25 at Expo Centre Karachi, are underway with full zeal and dedication.
A statement said that the second steering committee meeting was held at the Expo Centre Karachi.
Key members and stake holders attended the meeting and discussed the progress made so far towards making it a success.
While chairing this committee, Director General DEPO, Maj. Gen Agha Masood Akram, informed that “We are receiving an overwhelming response from domestic as well as foreign exhibitors around the world for IDEAS 2016 and more than 80% of the space has already been booked”.
DG, DEPO, further requested the participants for their cooperation in order to promote a positive image of Pakistan, which is one of the main objectives of this exhibition.
During the meeting, representatives from nominated departments gave presentations on the progress for their assigned responsibilities.—APP photo
