Amir Khan auc­tions his be­long­ings to raise Thar funds

KARACHI—For­mer World Boxing Cham­pi­ons Amir Khan auc­tioned his be­long­ing for rais­ing funds to fa­cil­i­tate drilling of wells for the wa­ter-starved pop­u­la­tion of Thar.

In a pri­vate cer­e­mony held at PC Ho­tel Karachi, the Bri­tish-born Pak­istani boxer put his paint­ings, boxing gloves as well as other items of per­sonal use for the auc­tion. The Champ, who is also the pa­tron-in-chief of Amir Khan Trust, is on a three-day tour of Me­trop­o­lis.—APP
