Students advised to work hard for bright future
ATTOCK—Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has said that govt is according priority to education sector as only education guarantees development of every sector. He said this during a prize distribution ceremony at Govt Boys College Attock.
On the occasion Deputy Director Colleges Professor Usman Siddiqui, Senior Vice President PMLN Saleem Shahzad, Tehsil President PML-N Ghulam Samdani, Sheikh Nasir Mehood and Sheikh Ajmal and large number of stu- dents were present.
Federal Minister said that during the last three years in Attock, two billion rupees have been spent on different development projects, which include opening of Agriculture University Campus and approval of Medical College.
He said, a college bus worth Rs 7 million has also been handed over to the college while another bus will be given soon. He emphasised upon students to work hard for the betterment of their own future and the future of the country.
The Federal Minister said, youth is the future of Pakistan and emphasised upon the students to get the themselves prepared to shoulder the future responsibilities.
He congratulated the students who got positions in CM Punjab Extra Curricular Activities Competition. Federal Minister gave away cash prizes to the position holder students and handed over keys of the College Bus to principal.
Earlier Deputy Director Colleges Professor Usman Siddiqui in his address highlighted the developments and achievement in college level education. He thanked the federal minister for giving special priority to education sector.
