Stu­dents ad­vised to work hard for bright fu­ture

AT­TOCK—Fed­eral Min­is­ter for Par­lia­men­tary Af­fairs Sheikh Aftab Ah­mad has said that govt is ac­cord­ing pri­or­ity to ed­u­ca­tion sec­tor as only ed­u­ca­tion guar­an­tees de­vel­op­ment of ev­ery sec­tor. He said this dur­ing a prize dis­tri­bu­tion cer­e­mony at Govt Boys Col­lege At­tock.

On the oc­ca­sion Deputy Di­rec­tor Col­leges Pro­fes­sor Us­man Sid­diqui, Se­nior Vice Pres­i­dent PMLN Saleem Shahzad, Tehsil Pres­i­dent PML-N Ghu­lam Sam­dani, Sheikh Nasir Me­hood and Sheikh Aj­mal and large num­ber of stu- dents were present.

Fed­eral Min­is­ter said that dur­ing the last three years in At­tock, two bil­lion ru­pees have been spent on dif­fer­ent de­vel­op­ment projects, which in­clude open­ing of Agri­cul­ture Univer­sity Cam­pus and ap­proval of Med­i­cal Col­lege.

He said, a col­lege bus worth Rs 7 mil­lion has also been handed over to the col­lege while an­other bus will be given soon. He em­pha­sised upon stu­dents to work hard for the bet­ter­ment of their own fu­ture and the fu­ture of the coun­try.

The Fed­eral Min­is­ter said, youth is the fu­ture of Pak­istan and em­pha­sised upon the stu­dents to get the them­selves pre­pared to shoul­der the fu­ture re­spon­si­bil­i­ties.

He con­grat­u­lated the stu­dents who got po­si­tions in CM Pun­jab Ex­tra Cur­ric­u­lar Ac­tiv­i­ties Com­pe­ti­tion. Fed­eral Min­is­ter gave away cash prizes to the po­si­tion holder stu­dents and handed over keys of the Col­lege Bus to prin­ci­pal.

Ear­lier Deputy Di­rec­tor Col­leges Pro­fes­sor Us­man Sid­diqui in his ad­dress high­lighted the de­vel­op­ments and achieve­ment in col­lege level ed­u­ca­tion. He thanked the fed­eral min­is­ter for giv­ing spe­cial pri­or­ity to ed­u­ca­tion sec­tor.
