Two-day book bazaar starts

IS­LAM­ABAD—A two-day weekly books bazaar has been started here on Fri­day at premises of Pak­istan Academy of Let­ters (PAL). The pub­lish­ers and book sell­ers of twin cities of Is­lam­abad and Rawalpindi have set-up their stalls at weekly book bazaar. The bazaar will be opened from 9 am to 7 pm.

Books on var­i­ous sub­jects are avail­able at the bazaar on dis­counts rates. Pak­istan Academy of Let­ters (PAL) is mak­ing ef­forts to pro­mote book read­ing cul­ture in the coun­try. The Academy in­vited stu­dents and gen­eral pub­lic to get books on dis­counted rates from the bazaar.—APP
