Gift for farmers

ISLAMABAD— Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain hailed the positive-friendly budget 2016-17 and termed that it was a gift for the farmers of the country from the government. While talking to Radio Pakistan’s programme, he expressed the confidence that the new measures announced in the budget would give necessary boost to agriculture to help it contribute its share to the GDP. The government tried its level best to facilitate the people of the country in various aspects, he said. Minister urged that certain relief packages had also announced to facilitate the farming community in the country. None of the previous governments had presented such an exemplary budget.—APP
