26 coun­cil­lors join PPP-Work­ers Party

BADIN—twenty-six in­de­pen­dent coun­sel­lors of Mirza Group an­nounced to join PPP-Work­ers Party. Ad­dress­ing a press con­fer­ence here at Badin Press Club on Mon­day, close aides of Dr Mirza and his rel­a­tives in­clud­ing Hasam Mirza, Shezreh Mirza, Dr Mir Ab­dul­lah, Haji Sheer Ja­mali and others an­nounced to join Pak­istan Peo­ples Party Work­ers which is be­ing led by Dr Saf­dar Ali Ab­basi and Nahid Khan.

The mem­bers of district coun­cil said that af­ter ver­dict of Sindh High Court, they are join­ing to Pak­istan Peo­ples Party-Work­ers as they can par­tic­i­pate in elec­tion of chair­man­ship of district coun­cil Badin.

Re­spond­ing the ques­tion, they ex­pressed that they have elected by the votes of com­mon peo­ple of district Badin and they vowed to serve their vot­ers and peo­ple of Badin hence they joined the po­lit­i­cal party.

When in­de­pen­dent elected coun­sel­lors of Town Com­mit­tee Tando Bago have joined Pak­istan Mus­lim League (F). Mean­while elected coun­sel­lors of Badin Mu­nic­i­pal Com­mit­tee and Town Com­mit­tee Pan­grio and Nindo city will en­ter­tain their in­de­pen­dent po­si­tion and will wait for the fi­nal ver­dict of Supreme Court.

Ear­lier, Dr Saf­dar Ali Ab­basi, Chair­man, Pak­istan Peo­ples Party-Work­ers and closed aides of Sha­heed BB, Ms Nahid Khan said that Larkana and Badin was strong­hold and home of Sha­heed Be­nazir Bhutto and Sha­heed Zul­fiqar Ali Bhutto. They said that po­lit­i­cal de­ci­sion of peo­ple of Badin and Larkana proved that they are yet stood along with the vi­sion of Sha­heed BB and Sha­heed Bhutto.
