CDA em­ploy­ees hold rally

ISLAMABAD—Thou­sands of em­ploy­ees of Cap­i­tal De­vel­op­ment Au­thor­ity (CDA) on the ap­peal of Maz­door Union (CBA) of the body held a rally here at Aab­para Chowk which was a peace­ful event wherein thou­sands of em­ploy­ees (Males & Fe­males) of En­vi­ron­ment, Wa­ter Sup­ply, Chair­man’s Com­plex, Par­lia­ment Lodges, Lake­view Park, San­i­ta­tion, Road Main­te­nance, Fire Bri­gade, DMA Direc­torates par­tic­i­pated. Ad­dress­ing the demon­stra­tion, former Sen­a­tor Syed Za­far Ali Shah said that he re­spected Ch. Muham­mad Yaseen as CDA em­ploy­ees are for­tu­nate enough that they have a leader like Ch. M. Yaseen.

He re­it­er­ated his will that he is ready to go to jail for the work­ers of the CDA.

Ad­dress­ing the gath­er­ing, Gen­eral Secretary CDA’s CBA, Ch. Muham­mad Yaseen said that for the last one year, he was struggling for the reser­va­tions and ap­pre­hen­sions of the work­ers, and in­formed the govern­ment for the pro­mul­ga­tion of “Islamabad Cap­i­tal Ter­ri­tory Lo­cal Govern­ment Act,2015” re­sult­ing in its neg­a­tive im­pact on the work-force of the es­tab­lish­ment.
