PDP act­ing as agent of new East In­dia Com­pany Ra­j­nath re­marks on Kash­mir de­nounced

Muham­mad Yasin Ma­lik was ar­rested by Indian po­lice and was shifted to cen­tral jail in Srinagar. A state­ment is­sued by JKLF said, af­ter the bru­tal use of force, the po­lice ar­rested Ma­lik and he was im­me­di­ately shifted to Sher­gadi po­lice sta­tion.—KMS SRINAGAR—The Chair­man of All Par­ties Hur­riyet Con­fer­ence, Syed Ali Gi­lani has said that the PDP-BJP led pup­pet regime is ad­vanc­ing the RSS agenda to change de­mog­ra­phy of Jammu and Kash­mir by set­ting up sep­a­rate colonies for Pan­dits and Indian sol­diers in the ter­ri­tory.

Syed Ali Gi­lani while ad­dress­ing a sem­i­nar or­ga­nized by Tehreek-eHur­riyet Jammu and Kash­mir at Hy­der­pora in Srinagar vowed that the Kash­miris would foil all such at­tempts aimed at turn­ing the Mus­lim ma­jor­ity of Kash­mir into a mi­nor­ity.

Mean­while, Syed Ali Gi­lani, Shab­bir Ah­mad Shah and Mir­waiz Umar Fa­rooq in their sep­a­rate state­ments is­sued in Srinagar, to­day, termed the Indian Home Min­is­ter Ra­j­nath Singh’s re­marks on Kash­mir as mis­lead­ing and ridicu­lous.

They said that Jammu and Kash­mir was not a part of In­dia, but an in­ter­na­tion­ally rec­og­nized dis­pute, whose de­ci­sion was pend­ing with the United Na­tions. Ra­j­nath Singh had re­cently said that part of Kash­mir un­der Indian oc­cu­pa­tion was re­solved long ago and it was Azad Kash­mir which needed to be ad­dressed.

Pro-free­dom lead­ers and or­gan­i­sa­tions in their state­ments con­demned the vic­tim­i­sa­tion of Jammu and Kash­mir Lib­er­a­tion Front Chair­man, Mo­ham­mad Yasin Ma­lik by Indian au­thor­i­ties. Muham­mad Yasin Ma­lik has been ar­rested in a con­cocted case reg­is­tered against him 29 years ago for or­ga­niz­ing a pub­lic meet­ing of the-then Mus­lim United Front in 1987.

Hur­riyet leader Za­far Ak­bar Butt and Sikh leader Naren­der Khal­isa ad­dress­ing a Meet the Press pro­gramme in Muzaf­farabad, to­day, re­it­er­ated the Kash­miris’ re­solve not to al­low In­dia and its stooges to change de­mog­ra­phy of Jammu and Kash­mir by set­tling non-lo­cals in the oc­cu­pied ter­ri­tory.

In Brus­sels, the Chair­man of Kash­mir Coun­cil Euro­pean Union, Ali Raza Syed in a state­ment urged the international com­mu­nity to take no­tice of tor­ture and de­ten­tion of Hur­riyet lead­ers in oc­cu­pied Kash­mir.—KMS
