SLA Khan makes PCC victorious in KCCA VI Tour­na­ment

KARACHI—An ex­cel­lent bowling spell by Faraz Ahmed Khan paved the way for Pak­istan Cricket Club (PCC) to move into the fi­nal of KCCA Zone VI Daud Khan Me­mo­rial Cricket Tour­na­ment at Sakhi Has­san Gymkhana Ground.

Late Is­mail Jaf­far Cricket Club (LIJCC) bat­ting first faced the huge re­sis­tance from ri­val op­po­nent PCC where SLA Faraz Ahmed Khan took 6 wick­ets for 27 runs.

Ju­naid Ilyas gave tough time to Jaf­far Club that had to lose 3 more wick­ets for 9 runs.

Ham­mad Mughal how­ever sus­tained all pres­sure and could make half cen­ture, Ali Shah also sup­ported him by con­tribut­ing 31 runs where it ended at last with 126 runs with loss of 10 wick­ets in 32.3 overs.

PCC, in re­ply, achieved the tar­get eas­ily with­out fac­ing much re­sis­tance where Babar Agha con­trib­uted 75 runs with strik­ing 12 bound­aries and one six.An­other ma­jor con­trib­u­tor was Fazal Sub­han with 40 runs hit­ting seven bound­aries to the rope.

PCC scored 129 with loss of one wicket in 10.5 overs.—APP
