SLA Khan makes PCC victorious in KCCA VI Tournament
KARACHI—An excellent bowling spell by Faraz Ahmed Khan paved the way for Pakistan Cricket Club (PCC) to move into the final of KCCA Zone VI Daud Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament at Sakhi Hassan Gymkhana Ground.
Late Ismail Jaffar Cricket Club (LIJCC) batting first faced the huge resistance from rival opponent PCC where SLA Faraz Ahmed Khan took 6 wickets for 27 runs.
Junaid Ilyas gave tough time to Jaffar Club that had to lose 3 more wickets for 9 runs.
Hammad Mughal however sustained all pressure and could make half centure, Ali Shah also supported him by contributing 31 runs where it ended at last with 126 runs with loss of 10 wickets in 32.3 overs.
PCC, in reply, achieved the target easily without facing much resistance where Babar Agha contributed 75 runs with striking 12 boundaries and one six.Another major contributor was Fazal Subhan with 40 runs hitting seven boundaries to the rope.
PCC scored 129 with loss of one wicket in 10.5 overs.—APP
