Pri­or­ity to ed­u­ca­tion

UMERKOT—Pro­vin­cial Min­is­ter for Pop­u­la­tion Wel­fare, Syed Ali Mar­dan Shah has said that Sindh govern­ment has al­ways given top pri­or­ity to de­vel­op­ment of ed­u­ca­tion. This he said while speak­ing as a Chief guest at the clos­ing cer­e­mony of male and fe­male in­duc­tion of trainees at Govt Girls High School Umerkot here on Tues­day, said a hand­out is­sued by district In­for­ma­tion Of­fice. He said teach­ers who had passed the NTS test were ap­pointed on merit ba­sis and this is a huge suc­cess of Sindh govern­ment. He in­formed that var­i­ous pri­mary schools were up­graded to mid­dle schools and mid­dle school to high schools while high schools were up­graded to higher sec­ondary schools.—APP
