Ramazan: Orphans need patronage

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - NAZ GUL FAIZ BALOCH

Ramadan is considered as a great month for all Muslims around the world. Muslims keep fast for satisfaction of being followers of a great religion. But what hurts more is that due to failing democracy in Pakistan poor are deprived to celebrate this holy month since if a person keeps fast then for Ifthar they have to take healthy food in order to give energy to the body after a log-day fasting and abstaining from eating anf drinking. Therefore, there should be Ramadan packages for poor in all over Pakistan.

After all, the holy month of Ramadan is also special for children who celebrate it by wearing new clothes, shoes and many more. But it is really depressing for those orphan children who don’t have parents. They can’t celebrate such religious events due to insufficient resources. I humbly request the well to do people along with the government to do something unique for them. —Kech, Balochistan
