Save trees

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - NIAZ MEER

Trees are the great blessing of God. Trees play a vital role to save the environment and make the environment clean. Unfortunately, the chopping down of trees is on the rise in the world, especially in Pakistan. It is reported that the ratio of forests is less than 4 percent in Pakistan. Trees are being cut down for many objectives such as construction of buildings, bridge, chairs, tables, for makings homes and many more.

The cutting of trees is a major problem. Deforestation worsens the heat stroke which has become a major problem in different cities causing death and injuries. Thus, our govt needs to take serious steps towards this in order to save our country. —Kech, Balochistan
