Orphans rights protection bill

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - SHEYZADI

The Senate passed a bill for asking the government to protect the rights of unattended orphans upto the age of 15 and to provide them free education and other facilities. There was a rehabilitation and welfare bill that provides for creating a welfare fund.

Under the bill, the government is bound to address all of the needs of the orphan. If an orphan is forced to beg or found with other crimes the man will be put behind the bars. I thus request the govt to address the matter because it is its moral responsibility. — Via email
