En­croach­ments re­moved from Old Goli­mar to Bara-Board

photo KARACHI—The Anti-en­croach­ment de­part­ment of Karachi Metropoli­tan Cor­po­ra­tion (KMC), on Tues­day erased en­croach­ments in front of the mar­ble shops and sur­round­ings of the Old Goli­mar to Bara-Board here.

It also con­fis­cated the tiles, mar­ble and other items which were placed out- side of the mar­ble shops and de­posit the same to the store, said a state­ment on Tues­day. Dur­ing the anti-en­croach­ment oper­a­tion, the push­carts, road-side stalls and other en­croach­ments were re­moved to im­prove the traf­fic flow.

Deputy Di­rec­tor Anti-en­croach­ment, Muham­mad Javed su­per­vised the antien­croach­ment oper­a­tion while area po­lice and Rangers were also present to con­trol law and or­der.

Di­rec­tor Anti-En­croach­ment, Mazhar Khan warned the shop­keep­ers to re­move the en­croach­ment vol­un­tar­ily and the en­croach­ment re­mov­ing ac­tiv­i­ties will con­tinue.—APP photo
