Po­lice set fire to drug dens

KARACHI—Po­lice raided the city’s Pak Colony area and set fire to drug dens as sus­pects who were in charge of them fled from the area.

Ac­cord­ing to de­tails, when po­lice raided the area, all sus­pects fled at once. Po­lice sources re­vealed that scores of peo­ple came to the drug dens, most of them drug ad­dicts.

Po­lice fur­ther re­vealed that Bi­lal Pappu, Jabir, Baloch and Haji Kashif were run­ning the drug spots and were in charge of ev­ery­thing.

Riyasat Baloch used to be a mem­ber of the Uzair Baloch gang and had ear­lier ad­mit­ted to law en­force­ment agen­cies that he had killed sev­eral po­lice­men. Riyasat Baloch had also dis­closed that he used to ex­tort money from owner’s of mar­ble fac­to­ries and also used to be in­volved in drug car­tels.
