Be prac­ti­cal in­stead of writ­ing let­ters

PE­SHAWAR— Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa Min­is­ter for El­e­men­tary and Sec­ondary Ed­u­ca­tion Muham­mad Atif Khan on Wed­nes­day warned the high ups of his de­part­ment to be prac­ti­cal in­stead of only writ­ing let­ter. “Fail­ing in start­ing prac­ti­cal work within stip­u­lated time would be con­sid­ered inefficiency and there was no place for in­ef­fi­cient peo­ple in the de­part­ment,” he cat­e­gor­i­cally warned the high of­fi­cials of his de­part­ment, said an of­fi­cial re­lease is­sue here. He is­sued this warn­ing, while chair­ing a meet­ing of chair­men of eight Boards of In­ter­me­di­ate and Sec­ondary Ed­u­ca­tion Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa. The meet­ing be­side Sec­re­tary Ed­u­ca­tion Afzal Latif, was also at­tended by all Chair­men of BISE KP and other con­cerned au­thor­i­ties. The meet­ing was as­sured by all the Chair­men that Op­ti­cal Marks Rec­og­nizer (OMR) Sys­tem would be en­sured by July 10 this year, in all Boards ac­cord­ingly. Un­der OMR sys­tem, 1 lac papers can be checked in 24 hours with zero mis­takes.—APP
