Atrocities of K-Electric

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - SYEDA FATIMA ANJUM

I wish to draw attention of the concerned authorities towards Kelectric’s injustice. I am a resident of Amroha society, Scheme-33, Karachi. We have approx. 350 houses in our society but few of the residents are defaulters but the Kelectric is punishing all of us by shutting down electricity of entire society.

Our neighbouring society (i.e: Saadi town) also has many defaulters but K-ELECTRIC does not punish them for that. They should have equal attitude towards all Karachiites. When called, KE’s representative asked me to pursue the non-payers but it is not my responsibility to ask people to pay their bills. I appeal to the government to help Karachiites from the atrocities of K-electric. —Via email
