JazzCash to offer Health Insurance with TPL Direct Insurance
MIAN ARSHAD ISLAMABAD—JazzCash has announced the launch of Sehat Sahulat, an affordable health insurance service, in partnership with TPL Direct Insurance for its Mobile Account Customers. This service offers access to quality health insurance to customers in emergency situations, or for inpatient hospitalization. JazzCash Mobile Account customers who opt for the service by paying an annual fee do not have to worry about their hospitalization needs nor do they have to carry an additional health card to avail their insurance. By simply presenting their CNIC at their nearest panel hospital, they can avail all the linked medical benefits as covered under the insurance plan.
For emergency treatments, customers can visit non-panel hospitals as well and the cost will be reimbursed by the insurance company. “I am delighted to announce our latest offering for the facilitation of millions of our valued customers, who, for various reasons, cannot afford medical insurance. Sehat Sahulat provides much needed relief to them and their families in case of a medical emergency, as unforeseen medical needs, combined with high health care costs, leaves people with huge medical bills. By availing our health insurance offering, they can greatly reduce unexpected medical costs, while receiving the best possible medical care through our panel hospitals,” said Aniqa Afzal Sandhu, Head of Digital & Mobile Financial Service – Mobilink.
Talking about partnering with JazzCash, Syed Kazim Hasan, COO - TPL Direct Insurance, stated, “It is an honor to partner with JazzCash for the launch of a much needed health product in the shape of Sehat Sahulat. By coupling our unrivalled experience in the micro health insurance and JazzCash’s vast financial network, we have developed a medical insurance package which caters to the ever changing needs of the working class. With our ever-expanding panel hospital network and customer service initiatives, we are confident that Sehat Sahulat will quickly become a household name in the industry and shall facilitate millions of people who currently do not find medical insurance feasible.”
