Italian Con­sul Gen­eral vis­its KATI

KARACHI—Italian Coun­sel Gen­eral, Gian­luca Rubagotti vis­ited Ko­rangi As­so­ci­a­tion of Trade & In­dus­try (KATI) on Wed­nes­day.

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease is­sued here on Wed­nes­day, on this oc­ca­sion Italian coun­sel gen­eral said that both coun­tries have deep bi­lat­eral re­la­tions and now we are work­ing to make stronger trade re­la­tion with Pak­istan.

He said that in Italy now Pak­istan is be­ing con­sid­ered for in­vest­ments and trade.

Ear­lier, Pres­i­dent of KATI, Zahid Saeed wel­comed the Italian Coun­sel Gen­eral. In his wel­come note zahid stated that many of in­dus­tries are us­ing Italian ma­chin­ery and now we should look for­ward for tech­nol­ogy shar­ing.

Head of stand­ing com­mit­tee on diplo­matic af­fairs in KATI, Ma­sood Naqi said that busi­ness to busi­ness con­tacts should be built be­tween the busi­ness com­mu­ni­ties of both coun­tries, he also briefed about pos­si­ble sec­tors for tech­nol­ogy shar­ing and man­u­fac­tur­ing ser­vices.

Vice pres­i­dent of KATI, Syed Wa­jid Hussain, Chair­man, Pak­istan Tan­ners As­so­ci­a­tion, Gulzar Firoz, Aarij Iqbal from Italian De­vel­op­ment Com­mit­tee Pak­istan (IDC) and oth­ers were also present on the oc­ca­sion.—APP
