LAHORE— Pro­vin­cial Min­is­ter for Labour & Hu­man Re­source Raja Ash­faq Sar­war has said that Pun­jab gov­ern­ment will fully uti­lize ser­vices of in­ter­na­tional ad­vo­cacy firm Mckin­sey & Com­pany for skill train­ing, ac­cred­i­ta­tion and em­ploy­ment of two mil­lion youth of the prov­ince un­der Pun­jab Growth Strat­egy 2018. More than 15 con­struc­tion and trade com­pa­nies have shown keen in­ter­est to em­ployee trained grad­u­ates of Pun­jab for com­ple­tion of mega projects of UAE, Saudi Ara­bia and other coun­tries. As­so­ci­ate Prin­ci­pal Mckin­sey & Com­pany Taimur Khan, CEO Pun­jab Skills De­vel­op­ment Fund (PSDF) Ali Ak­bar Bosan and of­fi­cers of Labour De­part­ment at­tended the meet­ing. The Min­is­ter ap­prised the meet­ing that syl­labus of tech­ni­cal train­ing in­sti­tutes in­clud­ing TEVTA, PVTC and PSDF has been re­vamped and a Place­ment Cell has al­ready started func­tion­ing un­der TEVTA, send­ing thou­sands of skilled grad­u­ates abroad for com­ple­tion of mega con­struc­tion projects.—APP
