Pak­ista­nis to fea­ture in Climb­ing C’ship in China

ISLAMABAD—The Alpine Club of Pak­istan (ACP) is con­sid­er­ing to send its rock climb­ing out­fit to par­tic­i­pate in the Train­ing in Sport/Rock and Asian Con­ti­nen­tal Sports Climb­ing Cham­pi­onship, sched­uled to be held from June 19 to 29 in Nighbo, China.

Ac­cord­ing to a spokesman of ACP the club has short­listed the climbers for the cham­pi­onship and will an­nounce the team in a cou­ple of days.

He said that China had great fa­cil­i­ties for train­ing and par­tic­i­pa­tion in the train­ing pro­gramme ahead of the cham­pi­onship would help Pak­istani climbers to ben­e­fit a lot.—APP
