Haleema murderer owns killing ex-wife
KARACHI—The prime suspect in the Haleema murder case, Rizwan, arrested yesterday from Super Highway with the aid of sensitive agencies, has accepted killing his ex-wife, and also revealed that he had embezzled her money of about Rs350,000 and jewellery which he sold later.
His owning the guilt came during interrogation by police, which had also been told that Rizwan had abandoned her 4-year old son at Edhi centre. He said he had intoxicated Haleema through injection and later done her to death.
Abdullah is now with the Edhi Foundation. His father and aunty, as well as maternal mother have been claiming her, but Edhi said the issue can be resolved through courts. He told the authorities at Edhi Centre that he had found the boy at Karachi’s Sea View area.
However, on June 1, Haleema’s murdered body was found in an apartment which the police traced back to Rizwan, who had provided the accommodation to Haleema, who was laid to rest in Karachi Wednesday.
