Proclaimed offender arrested
PESHAWAR—Two people lost their lives and another sustained injuries in firing over a property dispute in Peshawar on Friday.
Police said the incident happened in Urmar Payan area in the morning and the dead and injured belong to the same family, reported private news channel.
Daud and Hazrat Nabi, who sustained serious injuries in the firing, succumbed to injuries on way to hospital. Police have registered a case and started search for the culprits.
Multan: A lady police officer leading a police team arrested a ringleader of a gang from Gaggo Mandi, a police spokesman said on Friday. In charge PO staff Nazma Mushtaq raided at Chak No 195-EB Gaggo Mandi Thursday night and arrested proclaimed offender Muhammad Asif.
He was handed over to Gaggo Mandi police who had killed a mobile phone company salesman few years ago at Budhla Sant area in Multan. CPO Muhammad Azhar Akram announced cash awards and appreciation certificates for all the team.
Quetta: Unknown gunmen shot dead a person at Garmakan Football Chowk area of Panjgur district. Police sources told on Friday that the victim identified as Sulaiman was on way to somewhere when armed assailants opened fire at him and fled from the scene.
As a result, he died on the spot. The body of the deceased was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.
The reason of killing could not be ascertained. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
Khanewal: A youth was killed in a road mishap occured near here on Friday. According to police, Muhammad Tayyab of 8-kassi was travelling on a motorcycle when a truck hit him. As a result, he died on the spot.
